Introduction: Our Mission and Vision

Our ambition at MADNFT is to create a mass adoption model that serves the creators of the world first, allowing them to place their work on-chain, tell their story and be rewarded for their efforts.

The creators that showcase their talents and deliver the most value through often emotive stories will deservedly attract an audience that appreciates and rewards them in kind.

I was helped into this space by Jp. He was the one that said hey, the NFT space is blowing up and you should put your work in that space. I was a creator that had absolutely no idea where to start, he was an award winning graphic designer with a strong skill set and he said don't worry I can do everything you can't do.

In that moment, MAD was born. This white paper is a reflection of our journey as co-founders and hopefully a powerful document that outlines how we intend to Make A Difference to the millions of creators out there who will benefit from the lessons we have learned.

How did we get here?

Xmas 2020 Jp and I were collecting some last minute Xmas food items and we bumped into each other. The Conversation quickly jumped to the explosion going on in the NFT sector.

Jp enthused on how he could digitise my work, build the required websites and launch an NFT collection. A few weeks later in 2021 I rang him and said hey let's give it a shot. I already had high resolution images of my paintings and Jp had a strong set of connections in the Cardano community where the buzz of NFT chatter had only just begun.

Although we had a basic website with minimal automation compared to today, we both understood the importance of how to portray the art and tell the story behind the work.

The results were explosive, generating hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales. As well as being a creator I have had a lifelong career in teaching sales teams all over the world on how to effectively take themselves and their products to market.

We quickly realised if we could teach others how to copy our footsteps then they would be able to generate similar returns. We reached out to a number of relatively unknown artists and helped them tell their story and they all had outstanding results.

Although fate meant we started in Cardano where we still have many amazing friends that helped us get started, we knew we wanted to Make A Difference to ‘all communities’ in the wider EVM market..

Over the last 3 years we have travelled the globe, learning from and meeting people across the whole crypto universe, and it has been amazing. We were determined to build a platform that helped as many people as possible and today thanks to everyone's input, that dream is about to become a reality.

We have had many false starts and learned lots of painful experiences. Development of cutting edge technology can often mean spending large sums of money on developers and tech that for one reason or another simply does not work.

But hey, we are still here, and more excited than ever. We have personally funded and bootstrapped our way to where we are now, we now have an outstanding team and feel stronger than ever that we are about to truly Make A Difference!!
